• Sheer vertical blinds: While sheer vertical blinds can be easier to clean, you should be gentle with their cleaning. You can occasionally vacuum or wipe them down with a mild soap and water solution. Keep them at least 6 inches from heat sources and steam out any wrinkles in the vertical sheers. 
• Wood blinds: You can dust wooden blinds regularly with a soft cloth or vacuum with compressed air. A damp cloth can also be used for deeper cleaning but avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives that can damage the slat coating. For long-lasting beauty, treat the wood occasionally with a product designed for fine wood, such as lemon oil.
